This amazing Kokanee Salmon is made entirely from hand-blown glass. Kokanee are land-locked sockeye salmon. This means that they do not travel to the ocean and return inland to spawn, instead they complete their entire life in the same large lake where they were born.
This iconic fish was custom made for Earthen Vessel Gallery and depicts the colorful Kokanee Salmon in Lake Vallecito and other large lakes in Colorado.
