Damascus Steel is characterized by it's strength, edge holding ability, and it's dramatic appearance. The Damascus Steel used in this knife comes from Japan and is called "Sanmai Damascus". These 3' closed lockback knives have a 2 1/4" blade. Most of these knives are decorated on one side of the handle.
